I grew up as the son of a military personnel who served in the Nigerian Air force. And because of this, I spent some part of my teenage life and the early part of my adult life in the military barracks. I can’t speak for the rest of Africa, but in Nigeria, the time between early adulthood which starts from 18 years till the time you graduate from the University, is spent in the home of your parents. Since I and my siblings had been raised up as people of faith, we went to church regularly.
