- PublisherTanzania Educational Publishers Ltd
Reading Comprehension Passages: Congolese Tales is a book composed of 11 Oral African Tales from the Democratic Republic of Congo. These tales have been reduced to the rank of simple folklore. But, thanks to this book, they have come out of darkness, have come to light and can be let known to a great audience. This book shows that these tales are not told aimlessly; they have an educational objective in the sense that they inculcate in the children's mind values which will permit them to get along well with their communities and teach them to be cautious and wise enough to cope with life's challenges.
Below each tale, there are Questions and Exercises which the reader should do. At the end of the book there are Answers to some of the Questions and Exercises.
